Pocket springs are small individual springs enclosed in a cotton fabric covering, as such they do not interfere with their surrounding springs when under compression, meaning they're completely independent and therefore there is no compromise in the support they offer. Each spring moves individually to one another, up and down like a piston, mirroring the contours of your body as well as helping to prevent roll-off.

The 1000 Relyon pocketed springs are further supported by a layer of hypo-allergenic Superflex foam. This foam layer adds further to the support and comfort offered by the pocket springs, as well as helping reduce the effects of dust-mites, making it perfect for allergy sufferers too! The Barton Ortho 1000 is also filled with luxurious, deep layers of a natural cotton blend made with cotton and soft white fibre. With cooling properties, these layers aid mattress breathability and help to wick away moisture. This helps to regulate the temperature of both the mattress and the sleeper so that you can remain at a comfortable temperature throughout the night.
